For the first time in it's 110 year history, the Indianapolis 500 was run outside the month of May, and without fans. The traditional crowd of 350,000 was estimated to be 2500 - mostly team and speedway personnel. So how does one 'attend' a fan-less Indy 500? One sponsors a car and gets a sponsor pass. Proud sponsor of the #81 Dragonspeed car driven by Ben Hanley.
